Portrait of a Wrinkled Bellied Hyena.

While a well fed hyena would have a grotesquely swollen stomach filled with meat from it's kills, a Wrinkled Bellied Hyena is far more feared by lions and buffalo alike. The level of danger with a Wrinkled Bellied Hyena can be judged by the number of wrinkles visible on the sunken core of their bellies. This hyena in particular is in a state of hunger and is far too dangerous and unpredictable to approach.
